About Annette Marie Alchemy
It’s the magic that happens when spirit recognizes and receives spirit in all it encounters.
“Awareness, descending from its state of pure consciousness, unfolds the universe on the ‘canvas’ that is Herself.”
~ from The Recognition Sutras by Christopher Wallis

Meet Annette
Annette grew up in the tiny country of Belize, where she shimmied up coconut trees, snorkeled in the Caribbean Sea and swooned over sunsets with cotton candy clouds. Nature has always been her playground, altar, guide and friend. And it has shaped her into being a committed caregiver and messenger for mother earth and her creatures.
Annette’s parents knew she would be a fearless adventuress at an early age, when at barely 2-years-old, she waddled over to the pool where her older sister was receiving swim lessons and jumped in! She’s always been a little crazy-courageous that way. Annette swam competitively in high school and then raced as a triathlete during her college years. In her late twenties she became an endurance athlete and since then has competed in numerous races—several marathons, fifty milers, and the Cascade Crest Classic 100-mile ultra-run, 1-3 mile ocean and lake swims, several bike races including the Death Ride and a 3-day, 280-mile mountain bike race across Costa Rica (coast-to-coast), and several triathlons including Ironman Canada (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run). Moving her body in nature makes Annette feel completely and joyfully alive.

Annette graduated from UC Davis with a major in nutrition science and a minor in environmental toxicology. She has a master’s degree in health administration and wellness promotion along with certifications in personal training, yoga, Pilates and Syntara System’s 2-year professional training in Subtle Energy Awareness. She has over three decades of experience as a private trainer and lifestyle coach and has written three books on health & fitness.
Annette has been a steward for Save Our Shores and a member of Team Ocean for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. She is a volunteer for the Pachamama Alliance and has taken their Awakening the Dreamer symposium and Gamechanger trainings. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and Rotarian, serving in leadership roles both at the club and Area levels. In 2016, Annette received the "Philanthropist of the Year" award in San Benito County for her work involving planting trees and protecting the California condor.
Annette’s love of nature and background as an endurance athlete, writer and lifestyle coach is the perfect mix for her mission to lead physical movements for a better world. As a messenger, Annette’s writing is grounded in all possibilities and a deeply rooted passion to nourish our relationship with life, earth and each other—all relations for future generations.
Annette learned about the mayan civilization while living in Belize and the following mayan prayer is her daily offering:
May the heart of earth,
Flow to the heart of heaven,
Through my heart,
And may my heart be the heart
Of every living being.
May the heart of heaven,
Flow to the heart of earth,
Through my heart,
And may my heart be the heart
Of every living being.
